This session is an opportunity to (re)start a dialogue between practitioners and researchers in the field of IA. The goal is to provide a bridge approach to core IA issues, facilitate understanding of the different views and interests at play, highlight both the strengths and weaknesses of the viewpoints of academia and business, and gain value from the two.
We will also talk about specific things we should do at the next IA Summit to help bridge the gap between IA research and practice. For example, is a pre-conference consortium part of the answer?
